On April 18, Professor Elie Wiesel and Institute Executive Director Dan Doyle announced the 2011 World Youth Peace Summit at an afternoon press conference at the State House in Providence, Rhode Island. Later that evening, Professor Wiesel delivered a brilliant address on the Role of Youth in World Peace. Since April 18 the Institute has been inundated with positive feedback on the notion of the World Youth Peace Summit.
