National Sportsmanship Day Celebration!
The World Youth Peace Summit was recognized at a half-time ceremony of the February 13 UConn-Cincinnati men’s basketball game at the XL Center in Hartford. The ceremony included the participation of Congressman John Larson, UConn President Mike Hogan and UConn Trustees Larry McHugh and Tom Ritter. Donald "Dee" Rowe, UConn Special Advisor for Athletics and long-time Institute supporter gave a magnificent speech to the crowd of 15,000 about the Summit and its impact.
